Northwoods Cabins is located in the beautiful Pinetop-Lakeside area of the White Mountains in  Arizona, high up in the cool Ponderosa pines! We offer charming cabins to entertain your friends and family visit after visit. Northwoods is a four seasons destination, with skiing in the winter, Spring hiking, Summer fishing, and the spectacular fall colors! We are family owned and operated since 1978!

If you are seeking a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the metro areas, the White Mountains offers pristine pine and aspen forests, mountain streams, rivers and lakes, sunny meadows and rolling hills to explore. Here you will find the world's largest stand of Ponderosa Pines, over 40 of the best fishing spots in the Southwest and the unspoiled beauty of the White Mountains Apache Indian Reservation and Sitgreaves National Forest.  Northwoods has a consistent record of offering its visitors a welcoming atmosphere that keeps you coming back again and again. Our staff is always happy to recommend places to go and offer a variety of things to do to make your stay a memorable one!

A brief description of our Cabins and Amenities:
​Our cabins come in a variety of sizes and layouts, from a studio all the way up to a two-story chalet that sleeps 16!  Each Cabin has a fireplace (gas or wood avail) and electric or gas heating for those cool winter nights.  Each of our cabins has a covered porch with a gas grill to sit back and enjoy the scenic views.  Every cabin has free WIFI, cable and a 40" or larger flatscreen provided, living rooms, a dining area, full-size kitchens, and baths. Each floorplan is a unique layout, offering the comforts you would expect to find at your home away from home! We also have On-site Laundry facilities provided for your ease and convenience. 

All Cabins are privately located with a superb view of pine forest and seasonal flowers. Every nature lover will enjoy observing the variety of birds and wildlife attracted close by. Starting with a Hiking Trail system off the edge of Northwoods property into the Woodland Park area.

There is even a carefully designed play-area for the children keeping the kiddies busy so mom and dad can fully enjoy the resort, whether it is just relaxing around our outdoor fire ring and barbecue area, or a leisurely stroll through the pines. And let's not forget about our community hot tub, to enjoy under the stars.
